Im sorry, I bet you are a good drummer, but thats absolutely not how that song was played. Besides other things, even the drum fill in the intro is played wrong, not only because theres no crash cymbal in your version, but because the toms are not played like that. I know that even Ringo thinks he played like that, but he forgot. Its absolutely not what we hear in the isolated drum track. If you guys want to play that song like Ringo really did, David Montis performed an exact cover of that song.

Me thinketh that might be the way its played however., unless one improvises the whole song sounds........boring!@!?😉🤑😜

Every Tab I've looked at says that this song is 4/4 time. Listening to the song and watching this video, it seems definitely like 3/4 time. It's very well done, no doubt about it, but where's the extra beat?

Very well done mate :) just played that myself today actually ahahaha pretty difficult in some parts but I think you nailed this :) especially the fast double bass drum kicks in the chorus before the crash+snare that lead into the next repeat if you know what i mean....everything done correctly :) 10/10 and also nice drum sounds

good video but as regards the sound recording: the level when you drum is ok but afterwards the micro is completely weak due to the AGC and so it takes time to hear your voice again with a good level. You can improve on that. Thanks anyway, it was good.

Yep, as others have mentioned, I’ve seen Ringo play this and this IS the way he played it. Tons of other YT’ers are doing it incorrectly.

Thats a recording custom? With out full lugs?

More recent videos isolating the original drums will clarify the kick pattern more accurately. Otherwise I think he's got it.

Well, actually, if you're going to be a truest, the kick is on beat 1, on the & of two, and on beat 3. And he plays it consistently that way throughout the song. Watch some of his live video. Listen closely to the Studio version as well.
